Middle
Managers
The objective of the Middle Mangers program is
to support participants in their development
of leadership and management
capabilities through a focus on self awareness and interpersonal
intelligence.
The group sessions will focus on:
- Clarity
of purpose in relation to the management role
- Relationship
development with other middle managers and senior
managers
- Relationship development and management with
direct reports
- Development of interpersonal communication
skills including empathic listening, advocacy,
inquiry, conflict resolution
and consultation skills
- Specific management skills including
delegation, time management and prioritisation
skills
- Awareness of how to hold self and others
to account and to deal constructively with resistance
- Developing the ability to give constructive
feedback
- Managing resistance and conflicts in
the workplace
Individual coaching sessions focused on identifying personal
goals, strengths and development needs will run parallel
with the workshops. This integration of individual and group
interventions supports and embeds change at an individual,
group and organisational level.
